Our next monthly meeting will be held on February 28th at 7:30pm at the Lake & Shore Community Rec Centre. For those who do not know where this is, it is in the School off the Porter Connector near the #107 hwy in Porters lake, 20 minute drive from Dartmouth on the #107. All welcome. Membership does have its benefits!
We will be having a work party this Sunday, January 15 to address some of the requirements for our Blueberry Run LOA. Cleaning up the trail, repairing signage, etc. Meet at Petain Station at 10:00, bring a lunch and whatever basic hand-held tools that you can.
Rally at Hubbards Saturday, the 14th of Jan 2017
Who is going to the Hubbards Rally this Saturday?
We will be departing from the Porters Lake Parking Lot Saturday Morning at 7:30am (14th of January 2017)
We will head to the Forest Hills Parkway.
We will depart at 8:00am from the Forest Hills Parkway and head over to Hubbards.
Our first Club for 2017 meeting will be held on the 31st of January at the Lake and Shore Center in the Porters Lake Elementary School at 7:30pm.
We will be leaving the parking lot at Porters Lake at 07:30 Saturday the 7th of Jan. traveling to the Forest Hills Parkway. We will leave Foresst Hills Parkway at 08:00 and head on out to the dam/water towers on the 103.
Weather looks goodish so should be a good run. We're looking at 90+/- kms so if your machine is thirsty, bring some buggy juice!!

It is time to just go for a run and have fun. We know it is a busy time of year but at our social tonight, we were was asked if we could have a fun run. So, how about next Thursday the 22 of Dec.? We will meet at the end of Myra road about 10:00, unload and head out by 10:30. We don't have a route yet. It is kind of limited because of bridges being out. We will go somewhere. The destination isn't important. It is the ride!!! We will be back and loaded up by about 4pm. So what do you say. Let's get out as a club and have fun again. There will be no bugs. That is a bonus.
Our Christmas social will be held on December 15th at 7:30pm at the Lake & Shore Community Rec Centre. There will be a short meeting first before the social. Family & friends are welcome to the social. Since there are bridge issues, as mentioned previously, please keep your eye out for emails about work parties on fixing/replacing this bridge. We'll need all the help that we can get.
Our annual Marine Riders Club Rally scheduled for the 17th of September, 2016 has been postponed. Another bridge on the Mary Jane trail close to Junction HX-23 has collapsed. See map above for location of the collapsed bridge.
