As many of you know already, Richard Ward will not be re-offering as President of the Marine Riders due to personal reasons. Over the past couple of years Richard has gone above and beyond in his roll as President of the Marine Riders with such things as acquiring updated LOAs for our main trails in the Porters Lake area and a lot of the ground work that has been required to get the approval for the bridges that we need to get our trail system usable again. Richard has spent countless hours of his personal time meeting with various government agencies to get the club to the point that it is. Even though we still do not have a permanent bridge in place for the Roger Mailman bridge, we are that much closer because of Richard. As a thank you to Richard, Jim Crowell and Charlie Lever presented Richard a Visa gift card on behalf of the club.
