Our first Club for 2017 meeting will be held on the 31st of January at the Lake and Shore Center in the Porters Lake Elementary School at 7:30pm.

A big item on the agenda for this meeting will be the election of our Club Executives and Directors. As most of you know, we have several positions that need to be filled. Al Rothwell is not standing as Treasurer. He has filled this position for several years. He has done well and needs a break. I will not be offering as President. My wife and myself will be travelling for most of 2017 so I can't devote the time needed. We also need a vice president, and new directors. 

So we need new people in to give the Club a fresh look. We need some of our female members to help run the Club. Other clubs do have women in as part of the Executive and directors. At present, we don't have women in on the decision making. I think we are missing out on a lot they have to offer.

Please send me your nominations so I can forward their names out to our members before the elections. 

Be part of the fun and help out with the Club. I'm sure you each have a lot to offer.
