It has yet to be approved by DNRR, but community consultations have begun in the event that the LOA is awarded to MRTA. We have had a community information session, and a community meeting to establish a management committee, discuss trail etiquette, and recruit members is planned for Sunday, March 19 from 7 - 8:30 pm at the Buffalo Club in Eastern Passage.

The trail known as the 'GeoGrid' at the end of the Myra road has been officially changed to "The Laurie Ledwidge Memrial Trail" in honour of Laurie Ledwidge who had always been a big supporter of the Marine Riders and allowing us to use his land over the years. Our trail system wouldn't be what it is today without his support and the support of the whole Ledwidge family.
